PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE PAGE BEFORE YOU PRINT OUT YOUR PERMIT!
Lanikai residents who would like to leave cars in the Park during restricted parking weekends must be members of the Lanikai Association; membership dues help with upkeep of the Park. To request a parking permit, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will need your name, address, contact phone number and the license plate number(s) of the vehicle(s) you would like to leave in the Park. The Park Committee will issue you a permit number and record this number along with your information in our log. Before a long holiday weekend there may be a wait to be issued a permit number, so please allow several days.
We will issue up to two placards for each TMK/address permit, and each placard may list two license plate numbers, covering a maximum of four vehicles.
NOTE: Each vehicle placed in the Park must display a placard on the dash, so only two of your permitted vehicles may be in the park at one time. Please ensure this pass is legible and clearly visible.
Take this into consideration when allocating license plate numbers to the two placards. Vehicles with license plates that do not match the placard, as well as any vehicles displaying a placard that has been tampered with, WILL be towed.
Please download the 2020 Parking Permit and print your own placard(s). Write the permit number we give you in upper right hand corner and your vehicle license number(s) and other information in the designated areas. These placards are only valid if you are issued a permit number. By downloading the placard and getting the permit number, you agree that the Lanikai Association is NOT responsible for your vehicle while left at the Park. This is a service to our membership, and we are staffed by volunteers.
Permitted cars may park from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (assuming no parking hours are 10-3). Please be aware that vehicles parked outside these hours, as well as any car left in the Park without a placard, will be subject to towing.
Please enter and exit the Park via the Kaiolena Street entrance. Park the nose of your car up to the rock wall which parallels Kaiolena Street ensuring it's as close to the wall as possible. Once one row is full please start a second row, being careful that there is room for the front row to exit. Do not block anyone in and please ensure you park where you are allowed or you will be towed. See map of parking here.
Remember that your permit MUST BE VISIBLE or you risk getting towed!
The permit is valid through December 31, 2020.
If you have a problem online, or if you have any questions, please feel free to email email@example.com.
